5th June 2017: Wowing the crowd on the streets of Dublin, Royal Caribbean took that holiday feeling to a whole new level  – quite literally – by revealing a show-stopping levitation stunt on South King Street.

The unique and pioneering performance, revealed by TV Personality, David Meade, was developed to coincide with the launch of Royal Caribbean’s 2018 brochure – Worldwide Cruise Holidays 2018/2019. The stunt saw a local holidaymaker levitating whilst flicking through the extraordinary destinations and itineraries in the brochure. Seemingly this not only lifted his spirits but his entire body so that he was floating on air!

Jennifer Callister, Head of Ireland, Royal Caribbean, commented: “This ground–breaking performance epitomises the adventure playground of incredible experiences both off and onboard our Royal Caribbean ships, and was a fantastic way to kick–start that summer feeling and inspire new adventures.”

David Meade added: “It was great to see so much buzz and excitement from the crowd in Dublin. One illusion in particular involved transforming an ordinary €50 note into a golden ticket for one lucky shopper to board Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas – which is set to be the world’s largest cruise ship when it is launched next year.”

The Royal Caribbean 2018/2019 Worldwide Cruise Holidays brochure, which was launched today, boasts an exciting range of itineraries across its 25 innovative and spectacular ships  that visit over 250 destinations.  Guests can also learn more about Symphony of the Seas which is launching next year and is set to be the world’s largest cruise ship.
