Account Executive with Consumer Experience

At Aiken we provide strategic advice and campaign delivery across Ireland for a wide range of consumer brands in the health, food and drink, energy financial and travel sectors.

  • We specialise in delivering high impact campaigns using creative content, ambassador engagement, event and sponsorship management and strong understanding of media sell in.

  • You will be part of an energetic team executing short and long term campaigns for our high profile brands and contribute to the development of their overall communications strategy.

  • Through your interest in the news agenda, insights into rapidly evolving consumer behaviour and understanding of emerging media platforms, clients will be impressed by the proactive opportunities and threats that you spot.

  • The quality of your written work will mean that the majority of materials are ‘client–ready’ and meet the brief set in terms of tone, creativity and delivery.

  • Your project management skills will ensure that deadlines are met..  You will be energetic, innovative and genuine – it’s a priority!

  • Beyond client and new business work, you will be a valued member of the team, ‘pitching in’ wherever help is needed and contributing to activities from brainstorms and event planning to drafting entries for Aiken’s ‘Our View’ platform.

We need someone who can hit the ground running to its essential you already have at least one years’ experience working either in house or within an agency.

Account Executive with Public Affairs Experience

At Aiken we provided strategic advice and campaign delivery across Ireland on issues including local communities, politics and the media.

  • We specialise in strategic communications ranging from contentious planning applications and major infrastructure projects, through to community campaigns and stakeholder engagement.

  • You will be responsible for executing short and long term campaigns for your clients and contributing to the development of their overall communications strategy.

  • You will be a day to day contact for clients and establish a long term relationship with them based on their ability to trust in the quality of your judgement and delivery.

  • Through your interest in the news agenda, local government and planning and development, clients will be impressed by the proactive opportunities and threats that you spot.

  • The quality of your written work will mean that the majority of materials are ‘client–ready’ and meet the brief set in terms of tone, length and accuracy.

  • Your project management skills will ensure that deadlines are met by your client teams at every level, from more junior to more senior colleagues.

  • Beyond the work that you undertake for existing clients, you will play an important role in the agency’s future growth through your contribution to our new business process, helping to identify prospective opportunities, and supporting the development and delivery of pitches.

  • Beyond client and new business work, you will be a valued member of the team, ‘pitching in’ wherever help is needed and contributing to activities from brainstorms and event planning to drafting entries for Aiken’s ‘Our View’ platform.

Research Assistant – Intern

At AIKEN we conduct primary and secondary research to support the public relations and communications work of our clients creating the best strategies for reaching the public, or influencing key stakeholders.  We also monitor the Northern Ireland Assembly, the Dail and Scottish Assembly for our wide range of clients.

 We are looking for someone with an Interest in PR and public affairs with keen analytical skills and attention to detail.

Have the ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of information to tight deadlines ensuring accuracy and relevance;

Have the ability to present findings for publication clearly and accurately to a range of audiences; and

Be proficient in the use of database and Internet tools; spreadsheets, and word processing.

The person we are looking for will be able to demonstrate that they have a keen interest and knowledge of politics, the media, social media and current affairs and are generally interested in online and social media trends and developments.
