Belfast accounting professional Michael McGuinness has been named as a Top Affiliate by ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) at a recent AIB event.
Michael McGuinness of Augentius Belfast, who achieved first place in Ireland in the 2014 ACCA professional examinations, was formally recognised at the awards ceremony.
Chairman of ACCA Ireland, Fergus Condon, said: “Finance is a crucial function in every business with accountants providing the necessary help and support needed to build a sustainable future in Northern Ireland’s economy. Michael McGuiness and Kate Newman are two wonderful examples of the talented graduates working in finance today. Congratulations to them both on their recent success in the ACCA exams.”
