2014 marked McDonald’s 40th anniversary in the UK, presenting a unique opportunity to drive reappraisal amongst opinion formers, political policy makers and local councillors. We used this milestone as a platform to help influencers better understand McDonald’s economic contribution to the UK. The campaign drove widespread reappraisal of the business in the run up to the general election year, resulting in unprompted endorsement from influential MLAs, MPs and opinion formers and supporting another quarter of growth in the UK.
