Bright Young Scientists Get Ready for the 2015 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition

Young Scientists Ashleigh Reid and Ashleigh Brimacombe from South Eastern Regional College are pictured getting preparations underway for the 51st BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition after qualifying with their project ‘Investigating bird feeding habits in enriched woodland.”South Eastern Regional College will exhibit 2 of 28 projects from 15 schools across Northern Ireland and will gather to display their work to fellow students, judges and visitors at the BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition which takes place at the RDS in Dublin from 7 – 10 January 2015.Colm O’Neill, CEO, BT Northern Ireland said, “It is encouraging to see such high quality entries for this year’s exhibition and the passion for subjects like science and technology amongst our young students.

"We know that STEM subjects are key to empowering future generations to grow a dynamic and prosperous economy in Northern Ireland.
