McDonald’s Support Local Commonwealth Athlete

McDonald’s Westwood is lending its support to local boxer Michaela Walsh as she sets off to represent Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

The restaurant has sponsored the young athlete by providing her gloves and boots for the competition.

Paris McDonagh, first assistant manager at McDonald’s Westwood commented, “ McDonald’s in Westwood is  steeped in the local community and we are delighted to lend our support to Michaela, who has demonstrated huge dedication and talent as she sets off to represent Northern Ireland at the Commonwealth Games.  We would like to wish her every success for the competition.”
