DFC supports Commonwealth games relay

Local Vehicle Management company, DFC, has confirmed its commitment to supporting the 2014 Commonwealth games by providing two Kia Sportages to the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Games Council as the Queen’s Baton Relay continues its journey across the globe.

Representatives from DFC joined Dame Mary Peters, First Minister Peter Robinson and Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness at Stormont Parliament Buildings to view the relay as it embarked on the Northern Ireland leg of its journey.

Uel Butler, DFC commented “The Giro Italia demonstrated the positive role sport has to play in our society, it was a great coup for Northern Ireland.  As the Northern Ireland Commonwealth Council prepares to compete in Glasgow we at DFC are delighted to play our role in supporting large scale events that help keep alive the great feel good factor that many of us have experienced in the recent weeks  ”
