Belfast Pupils Travel Smart to School

Local pupils from Coláiste Feirste and Belfast Royal Academy are announced winners of Translink’s Life’s Better Schools’ Travel Challenge.’ The initiative encourages pupils to make the move away from private car journeys and choose healthier and more environmentally-friendly forms of travel to help make their lives better. Both schools won a free bus service after Coláiste Feirste achieved the greatest reduction in weekly private car journeys by an impressive 21% whilst pupils from Belfast Royal Academy achieved the largest increase in bus journeys at 55%.
