Northern Ireland Accountancy Firm Receives Top Accolade

Belfast based audit and advisory firm Baker Tilly Mooney Moore has been named ‘Independent Firm of the Year - Northern Ireland’ at the UK wide British Accountancy Awards 2013. Members of the judging panel including Sarah Hathaway, head of ACCA UK were impressed with the practice’s work over the past twelve months and rewarded the company in recognition of demonstrating the highest standards of quality and inspiring excellence across the accountancy industry within Northern Ireland.

The recent awards ceremony held at The Pavillion, Tower of London was sponsored by ACCA (Association of Chartered, Certified Accountants) and attracted more than 500 guests from accountancy practices across the UK; from small local firms to large global businesses.

Anne Fitzpatrick, Tax Partner Baker Tilly Mooney Moore said, “We are delighted to win this award. We have worked hard to develop all areas of our business and this marks the end of a busy period for us following our merger with recovery and insolvency specialists McClean & Co. To be recognised at this level is a real honour and we continue to work towards improving the services we offer to all of our clients.”
