Astronaut Prepares for Touchdown at Science Exhibition

Young astronaut Oliver McKee eagerly awaits the touchdown of Colonel Chris Hadfield the Canadian astronaut who will be making a very special appearance at the BT Young Scientist and Technology exhibition on Saturday 11 January 2014.  The astronaut made famous by his interstellar rendition of David Bowie’s Space Oddity will sign copies of his new book, An Astronaut’s Guide to Life on Earth for the thousands of visitors who will make their way to the 50th exhibition.  This year 31 projects from 17 schools across Northern Ireland will be competing at the exhibition which is renowned for providing family fun filled entertainment including live shows from W5, World of Robots and TITAN The Robot.
