Celebrated singer-songwriter and multiple Grammy award winner, JAMES TAYLOR, announces a tour with his band in 2014 including shows at The O2 Dublin on 23 September and Belfast Waterfront on 24 September.  Tickets go on sale Friday 6 December at 9.00am from all usual outlets.

Over the course of his song-writing and performing career, Taylor has sold over 100 million albums worldwide and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll and Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.

As a recording and touring artist, James Taylor has touched people with his warm baritone voice and distinctive style of guitar-playing for more than 40 years, while setting a precedent to which countless young musicians have aspired.  Taylor last played the UK & Ireland in the Summer of 2011 to sold out audiences and critical acclaim.

Note To Editors:Over the course of his celebrated song-writing and performing career, Taylor earned gold, platinum and multi-platinum awards for classics ranging from Sweet Baby James in 1970 to October Road in 2002.  He has won multiple Grammy awards and has been inducted into both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame.  Most recently, Taylor was awarded the distinguished Chevalier of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French government and the National Medal of Arts by President Barack Obama in a White House ceremony.  He was also one of a select few music artists who performed for both of Obama’s inaugurations.
