PROGRESSIVE SUPPORTS SECOND TIME BUYERS WITH NEW MORTGAGE LAUNCH

Northern Ireland’s largest locally-owned financial institution, Progressive Building Society, has announced the launch of a new 2 year variable discount rate mortgage.

Progressive has released the product to meet growing demand for second time buyer mortgages.

The building society is seeing signs of an increase in the number of people across Northern Ireland who are planning to move to their next home, and has tailored the new mortgage offering to meet the needs of those movers with a 40% deposit.

Michael Boyd, Deputy Chief Executive at Progressive, said: “The recent reports of an increase in house prices is making local home owners consider purchasing their next home and we’ve designed our latest mortgage product to make the cost of moving more affordable.”

“Applying for a mortgage with The Progressive couldn’t be easier; all of our branches have a team of specialist mortgage advisors who can often provide a decision in principle on the same day as the application.”

As the largest locally owned building society, Progressive is keen to support the local housing market. As well as offering a very competitive product for second time buyers, they also support those looking for their first mortgage, or those movers with smaller deposits by offering a 95% LTV mortgage.

Home owners who are interested in finding out detailed information about the mortgage products on offer or wish to receive a personalised illustration should contact their local branch for an appointment or visit www.TheProgressive.com
