BT Ireland has scooped the ‘Irish Partner of the Year’ award at the annual EMC Partner Awards which took place on Thursday 21st March at the Dylan Hotel in Dublin.

Jason Ward, Country Manager for EMC Ireland said ‘We wish to congratulate BT on its success at this year’s EMC Partner Awards. The EMC Partner Awards are designed to recognise and reward achievement and success within our partner community, through our partner program. EMC has developed the EMC partner program which plays a crucial role in delivering for our Irish customers.

Through the program, EMC works with partners to ensure they are fully equipped with the necessary skills, tools, training and support to gain market share, increase profitability and advance their business. The program requires dedication, commitment and an in-depth knowledge of EMC’s storage hardware, software and services. Equally, it requires our partners to meet the demand of new disruptive technologies such as cloud, big data and IT security. BT has met and exceeded these challenges and has demonstrated great success, leadership and achievement. We congratulate BT on its achievement at this year’s awards and look forward to our continued success working together”.

Commenting on the award Shay Walsh, Managing Director for Business, BT Ireland said “Having grown our EMC revenues by 100% last year, we are particularly delighted to be recognised as its ‘Irish Partner of the Year’ for 2012. This accolade is a testament to our highly skilled team of ICT specialists who are dedicated to the design of complex ICT solutions for mid-market, enterprise and public sector customers, both national and international. It is by working closely with partners such as EMC that we are increasing our business footprint in Ireland, growing our revenue and firmly establishing our position as a leader in networked IT solutions. We look forward to building on these important relationships in 2013 and beyond”.

This is the second award in recent times for BT Ireland, who also picked up Avaya’s Partner of the Year award in December 2012. For more information visit www.btireland.ie
