Lobsters, Shellfish and Guinness a great catch for Seafood Gourmet

Hillsborough, home to the world renowned Oyster Festival, will host an exciting new dining experience with The Plough Inn opening a new seafood restaurant ‘Seafood Gourmet’ at its premises in the heart of the village.

Complete with lobster tank, freshly caught coastal shellfish and ever changing chalkboard catch of the day, ‘Seafood Gourmet’ is now providing the opportunity for people from throughout  Northern Ireland and further afield to visit Hillsborough and enjoy locally sourced fresh seafood the whole year round.

Commenting on the new restaurant, Gemma Bell, Corporate Relations, Diageo Northern Ireland said, "Seafood and Guinness Mid Strength is a great combination and having supported the Hillsborough Oyster Festival for many years we see our support of this exciting new restaurant as a natural progression of the Festival and the expectation of great seafood, served up with a quality pint of Guinness Mid Strength. We would like to wish Derek Patterson and his team every success and we look forward to, working with and supporting him for many years to come"

The restaurant is open Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights and serves from 5.00pm to 9.30pm. There is a first come first served basis. Bookings of six or more are accepted, for party reservations tel: 02892 682985.
