Botanic Inns develops exclusive Pride cocktail
The Northern Whig, part of the award winning Botanic Inns group has developed an exclusive cocktail called ‘Cherry Chapstick’ which will be sold as part of Belfast Pride 2012 festival.Mixologists from The Northern Whig were tasked with developing an innovative and colourful cocktail which was judged by the Belfast Pride organising committee and £1 from each Cherry Chapstick cocktail sold will go towards the Pride charity.
A number of Botanic Inns venues will be supporting Belfast Pride with a range of fundraising events taking place throughout the year, including a Pride breakfast in The Northern Whig and a club night in Scratch on Saturday 4th August.
Stephen Magorrian from Botanic Inns said, “We are really looking forward to being involved in the Pride Festival this year and the annual parade on Saturday 4th August is set to be bigger and better than ever. The parade will leave from Custom House Square and McHughs bar and restaurant will have plenty on offer for all those attending the carnival.”
Belfast Pride runs from Monday 30th July until Saturday 4th August.
