The Grand National is the biggest betting day of the year and McLean’s bookmakers has found the main reason punters choose their pick is because of the horse’s name, while one in four choose their horse completely randomly.  Killyglen and AP McCoy’s Synchronised represent local interest in the race and McLean’s is expecting strong support for these alongside the traditional, random selections people make come the National. McLean’s is the largest independent bookmakers in Northern Ireland with over 60 betting offices and Miss NI Finola Guinnane is looking in good form as she chooses her horse for the big race.
