We are currently seeking a Client Director; this Dublin based role will have a dual focus on client service and business development.The role will suit an individual with a demonstrable track record in strategic and creative thinking, client and team management, effective campaign delivery and client wins.Agency experience is a must, excellent written work is a given and knowledge of public affairs in Ireland is a bonus. The self-starting practitioner we are seeking will hit the ground running, making a meaningful contribution from the start.

Required competencies

Client work – understand clients goals, objectives and audiences; strategic lead on development of communications strategies and campaigns; oversee implementation and evaluation of campaigns taking a ‘hands-on’ approachOversee client team’s performance, acting as guardian of quality, deadline and budget.Understand digital media and online communication with an ability to effectively integrate both into client strategies and campaignsBe responsible for client team staff development and on job trainingContribute to our track record in organic growth and identify and develop new business opportunities.Have a developed understanding of the dynamic media landscape in all its forms and how this applies to the job.In return Aiken PR offers an attractive salary package with the opportunity to be part of a team that delivers with passion, energy and integrity.

Experience

Five years’ experience in a communications role, at least two of which are at a senior level.A minimum of two years agency experience.
